If it is, I'll probably wait for 2.12.The Content on this Site is presented in a summary fashion, and is intended to be used for educational and entertainment purposes only. IMO if they imported a 2.8 config into 2.10 it would have been nice if they set the options in 2.10 to match 2.8 behavior but obviously that'd be extra work and who am I to complain about a free program?Īlso (and this is trivial), but I'm not a huge fan of that mushroom thing when it starts, haha, it just feels so out of place for a paint program. ![]() It's just going to take a lot of time and effort to figure out how to fix everything so it works like it used to in 2.8. Plus a bunch of other things not worth mentioning.īTW, I'm not trying to complain, 2.10 actually seems like a great update with a lot of powerful options, and I'm sure even that PNG problem is solvable. I actually opened a PNG I'd exported in 2.10 and simply opened/re-exported it in 2.8 and got the huge size savings, lol, same pixels! Discord won't let me upload anything larger than 8MB so I had to go back to 2.8. Continue to click and drag the brush on the wrinkle until you are satisfied with the result. This will overlap the texture of the wrinkled skin with the unwrinkled skin. Release the 'Ctrl' key, and then click on the wrinkle. The showstopper was when I'd save (export, grumble, I know that's a long lost cause, haha) PNG's they were much larger (~14MB in 2.10 compared to like 3MB in 2.8). Click on the unwrinkled skin while holding down the 'Ctrl' key on your keyboard. I was able to fix the toolbox so it showed all the tools, and make the toolbox colorful again, and also fixed the crop tool so it would work the way it used to (you have to tell it to delete the pixels). ![]() I played around with the various transform tools in GIMP, but none I found could remove a curved distortion. If you can do it, then I can repeat those steps on the image I have and accomplish the same thing. So, I need to find some way to flatten the curve at the top, while not introducing too many distortions at the left/right/bottom of the image so that they remain croppable.Ĭan you flatten the earth in that photo? Sure the earth would be distorted, but then a rectangular crop could be made, with none of the black space showing. Unfortunately, a crucial part of the image (a person's face) is in the top middle (the worst possible place for it to be, of course). Normally I'd just sacrifice some of the image I have and crop off the top of the photo. Apply on the forehead, face and the neck. Add 2 tablespoons of honey and the juice of one lime along with a little cold milk. Note: That shows black space above, but mine is cropped at the top, so that on that earth image it'd be like the top of the earth touches the top of the image. Hello friend you can use home made facial for remove wrinkles you Take 2 apricots, after de-seeding them, finely chop and puree along with their skin. The top of the photo is rounded just like this (not my image). My goal is to rescue the photo and make it rectangular again.Ī rectangular crop works well on the sides and bottom, but the top is a problem. I have an image file of a page in a book with a photo on it (I guess they didn't have a scanner).
